I'm psyched to say that you can purchase the first two adventures of Marmalade and Steve as cat-tastic eBooks from my online store.

The service I'm using to sell these eBooks (at least this first time around) is UPLOADnSELL, which only keeps the files up for sale for three months. Here are the purchase links (for the first 90s days, that is!):

Stick Cats #2 - Act III
Buy Now - $1.49 USD

Catworld has been decimated in the Octo-Kitty's quest for supremacy! With Steve missing, Marmalade fights to salvage what's left. This 24-page tale was produced during 24-Hour Comics Day 2011. read a preview

Admittedly, you can already read the webcomics here on my blog or on Facebook. But by purchasing these eBooks, you can:

1. say thanks
2. toss me a wee bit of $$$
3. own digital copies of these stories that you can read on any computer or device that handles PDFs (which nowadays means just about every computer and device)

Next week I'll be announcing another Stick Cats product, one that includes these eBooks among many other excellent Stick Cats goodies. See ya then!

Stick Cats in The Tartan

Monday, August 27th, 2012

Carnegie Mellon University's student newspaper, The Tartan, has started running Stick Cats in their Pillbox arts and entertainment section.

Beginning today with the August 27, 2012 edition, Stick Cats #1 is nestled between Least I Could Do and Bomb Squad.

I'm a CMU alum and former Tartan staff member, having written a weekly comics column for Pillbox and contributed some highly offensive comic strips to the newspaper for the last three semesters of my college career. I also had a few fun moments of music coverage from other Tartan writers.

As far as I know, the only way to get a print copy is to snag The Tartan from the CMU campus in Pittsburgh. However, you can read a PDF copy of this week's paper here.

Thx to Juan José Fernández for planting the seed in my brain to contribute my work, and thx to Comics Editor Nicole Hamilton for giving Stick Cats a shot.

The Nine Lives LP

Friday, March 16th, 2012

One of my most popular products of the past few months is a bundle featuring Stick Cats #1-2 and a CD of the Stick Cats theme song.

Up until now, I've just tossed a few more random Nik Furious songs onto the CD, switching out tracks whenever I burned a new batch.

But those days are over! Now each Stick Cats bundle will come with an official homemade copy of The Nine Lives LP:

The tracklist for The Nine Lives LP is:

1. Stick Cats (vocal version)
2. Fresh Frunk
3. Remix the Phoenix
4. Purple Suite
5. Da Bounce
6. RAW
7. In Vert Head
8. Speechless
9. Stick Cats (instrumental)

In total, it's over 45 minutes of music ranging from funk to electronic to rock to experimental. Also, I submitted the CD's tracklist to the Gracenote database, which means your computer will recognize the track names when you play the album.

I'll have copies of it next weekend at the Buffalo Small Press Book Fair, and soon you'll be able to buy a physical copy of the disc from me over the internet.
